Here's my 3rd card for today and it's for the Simon Says Stamp challenge to create something with "autumn leaves." I'm using papers from the LillyBee Autumn Spice paper pad, and die cut the leaf with an older SB leaf die. I sponged on assorted ink colors, and then covered it with Glossy Accents. I popped it up on adhesive foam and tied a piece of gold cording around the stem. Punched leaves were done with a MS punch and embossed with a SU! square lattice ef. Sentiment is by MFP and was layered with SU! word window and fancy label punches.
That's going to do it for me today, but thanks for stopping by and have a fantastic weekend! If I should vanish early next week, it's probably because hurricane Sandy will be paying the east coast a visit over the weekend. With the immense size of this storm, it's hard to imagine there won't be widespread power outages and damage where I live, but hopefully we'll get through it OK! Take care everyone!

I looked at that leaf a long time before I read your post. I wanted to see if it was real or paper. I was leaning toward paper only because you are a paper artist and it would be cheating to put a real leaf on the front of your card. Seriously!! It's amazing!!
Jim and I just did a quick trip to Wal Mart. Got the last pk. of D Cell batteries, and saw people fighting over cases of bottled water. Yikes! You have created quite the triple play today! The veins and colors on your major leaf are just gorgeous. I think I have finally put the Sq. Lattice ef on my Santa list. :)
Third time's a charm!!! Wonderful, Carol! LOVE that paper you used for this beautiful card! That big leaf looks so real! VERY nice!
You know I'll be thinking about y'all during this storm! Stay safe.

Such a pretty Fall card, Carol. I thought for sure that die cut leaf was real. You sure made it look that way.
