The challenge for the
Shopping our Stash #65 this week is to "sketch it." That means we're to link our card to a sketch we used. As always, the challenge is to shop from our "stash" and use some of those supplies we already have on hand. I used some old supplies as well as some new ones for my card. The old is the self-stick ribbon I've had for years! It's by DCWV and I bought it from QVC years ago. Self stick ribbon seemed like a fabulous idea at the time, and although it works beautifully for scrapbooks, I seldom use it for cards and have a hefty supply of it left. I wove it through a Quickutz ribbon slide die cut without removing the backing first, so it's a little bulky, but it matched the design, so I used it. The dsp and fancy fan ef are both from SU! and the sentiment is from Inkadinkado. I used the sketch from

ps: i sooooo agree about stick-on ribbon; it SEEMS like a brilliant idea... thus i'm puzzled that i use it so rarely! (you've made it look awesome again, tho!) ♥
