OWH Mid-week Throwdown Supplies Challenge

The OWH Stars & Stamps midweek throwdown is to get out those designer papers, punches and dies and use them to make a card. I made this card using dsp from a MME Everyday Flair pad, and the sentiment is from the Your Friendship SNSS set, done with SB circles & scalloped circles dies.

This card was made entirely from scraps, using half of a scalloped circle and plain circle, with small heart punches. I also used a scalloped border punch for the lower border. The sentiment is by HA, and the satin ribbon is from my stash.

Happy Thursday everyone - thanks for dropping by :)

Carol

You just amaze me, girl. Both of these cards are wonderful, but I have to say I am fascinated by your second card. I would have never thought to do something like that. Who knew scraps could turn out so terrific. Each one of those little hearts is made from a beautiful assortment of papers. Outstanding card! Enjoy your day.

I have seen you do your patterned rays before, and I love them! I must say, I am with Donna, and adore the little scrap hearts and how you used them!

Wowzer...Carol, these are awesome cards you've made. The first one is great with all those beautiful papers in that arrangement.
You are very clever in the way you used the scalloped die in the second card and I love all the little hearts.
You're rollin' with the great cards.

Both cards are so beautifully done! I love that the top card has the feel of a sun with the circle sentiment and the diagonal pretty papers look like sun rays. Very warm colors and pretty. Love the colorful hearts and ribbon on the second card. Both done perfectly!
