Happy Tuesday everyone! The challenge over at the SOS#66 this week is to use your favorite things on your card and mention what those favorites are. I made this card a while ago and never posted it, but it includes some of my favorite things. The SB labels 18 is my favorite die & the bricked pattern EK punch is another favorite. I've also been hoarding scraps of that fabulous retired SU! polka dot orange dsp, as well as the unknown striped grey/black dsp I used for the background. The images and sentiment are from 2 different SNSS sets, stamped with Versafine Onyx Black ink and embossed with clear detail ep, then sponged with ColorBox orange, scarlet, and canary yellow pigment inks. I added some black mini brads to the bottom....and those mini brads are another favorite of mine too :) I think this combination of colors and patterns makes a great masculine birthday card.
Thanks for stopping by, and I may have another card to post later today.

WOW! Carol, this is so pretty. Why or why can't I sponge colors like that! Just beautiful! Love the die too!

Carol, you have great "favorite things" in your stash. This card is the perfect masculine card. I think I am also hoarding some of that orange polka dot paper. Isn't it so nice?- And it looks great with the grey striped paper. Another wonderful creation from you. Hope to see a second one today. I'm hoping to get some MoJo going this afternoon, but right now I don't have an ounce of it in my.
It is indeed a wonderful masculine card, Carol! Love the way the colors fade for the sky, and the angle you did the stamps at. Bravo!
Awesome! I love your silhouettes against that beautiful sponging. I'm with you...super, masculine card.
So glad you shared your favorite things...love that punch! A gorgeous scene for sure! Did you listen to that other song link I sent you?
Wow, I love this! What great colors. Way to pile on the favorites, too. :)
