The challenge over at the
OWH Stars and Stamps Midweek Throwdown is to make cards for kids. I used this cute Cocoa mouse image from SNSS and colored him with Copics, adding Tumbled Glass ink for the sponged sky background. I did this in primary colors, adding a little neon Copic color for some extra brightness. The background was done with scraps, embossed with 2 different CB ef's, and I added a little hardware clip and a snippet of yellow/white ribbon for the finishing touch.
Are you watching the Olympics? How about Misty-May Treanor & Kerri Walsh Jennings?! I really hope they capture the gold - they're an awesome volleyball team! When they win, Misty-may looks into the camera and dedicates the win to her loved ones and the troops! How cool is that!! I hope they go all the way and grab that gold medal!

Carol... this is adorable. Love your coloring and the embossing.. aw heck, love it all!! The Olympics have been great.. my kids have been watching and hollering at me when they are on to come and watch. Yeah ~ USA ~ Gold All the Way!!!!

Wow!!!! That card is not only absolutely darling, the coloring is awesome sauce!!! We've missed the volleyball, but that is too cool that she does that.
