My card today meets 2 challenges. The CASology Cue Card for week #2 is "HAPPY" while the Shopping Our Stash Challenge 60 is to use something hoarded that is "precious." Pinwheels always remind me of my childhood days and how happy I was to watch the wind spin them around and around, so I made this CAS pinwheel, using a long-hoarded scrap of retired SU! dsp that I love. The precious item? Well check out the center of the pinwheel - it's a Tiddly Wink! It was the last remaining piece I have from that childhood game, and it seemed to work perfectly in this pinwheel :) The sentiment was masked from a Northwoods stamp.
Now that I've properly re-visited my childhood, I wish you all a "happy" weekend and thanks so much for stopping by!

I remember that DP - I always loved that colour combination - I'm happy you pulled it out and played along with CASology this week!
What a fantastic story! I love that you've used such a precious item on a card. I would have put it in a jewelry box and kept it forever.
Thanks for joining us at Shopping Our Stash!
Carol, this is great! What a good job you did with this pinwheel. And, to use your last Tiddly Wink!

It is not possible to watch a pin wheel and not feel joy! What a great idea, Carol! Thanks for thinking we were worthy of your last Tiddly Wink!
