Christmas in April?!

After seeing so many of my online blogging friends making Christmas cards all year long, I decided to jump on the bandwagon and get my cards done early this year too! It's a great idea to work ahead, so I'm playing along with the Merry Monday challenge #16 sketch and adding my first Christmas card to my stash.

I used Cherry Cobbler card stock and punched the vertical panels using a SU fancy scallop punch, and layered them over some SU! dsp. The sentiment is from the Contempo Christmas set (also from SU!) and stamped in Cherry Cobbler, and matted with Wild Wasabi cardstock. The poinsettias were done with the SB layered poinsettia dies and I used the SU! bird punch to create the gold centers.
Thanks as always, for stopping by. I always appreciate your spending a few minutes of your day to check in with me here! Have a fantastic Tuesday!

Carol

Oh Carol, I LOVE it! The poinsettias are just beautiful (I guess I'm going to have to break down and buy the die!) but I dearly love the way you did the Cherry Cobbler panels with that punch! Wonderful card!

Wow! It is beautiful, Carol! I love that layout and how you used it. I'll be so sorry that I didn't get an early start. Although, I really don't see any time to make Christmas cards so I'll try not to worry.
