OWH's VCMP Challenges continue

Here's my card for the OWH VCMP challenge #3 to make a funky fold card. Here is a tutorial for those who never tried this type of fold before. This is my first attempt, and I love how it turned out! I used all Pink Paislee dsp and ribbon, and the 1 in a million circle is a metal sticker, also from Pink Paislee. The sentiment is by Verve.

This is my take for the OWH VCMP challenge # 4 to make a "beachy thinking of you" card. I opted to go with the Beach Bum sentiment because this is such a whimsical image. It's a digi image from SNSS called beachball Cocoa and I colored the ball with flourescent Copics. The sand was stamped with 3 colors using a SU! image, and the sentiment and flipflops are from a set of unmarked wooden stampers. I added some clouds with tumbled glass distress ink, and embossed the background with a Sizzix diamond folder.

Ok, now I'm caught up with the VCMP challenges until later this evening when 2 more challenges will be posted. Check it out and come play along and send your cards to OWH. Our heroes will appreciate your cards!

Carol, your cards are wonderful! The funky fold card is just perfect - love the purple! Cocoa is so cute with that beach ball! Love how you colored him. All the extra deign elements on your card just make it look terrific. I am struggling to keep up with up with the challenges; I still have to do yesterdays! Can't wait to see what you do with the new challenges!

Wonderful job on both of these cards Carol. The colors and papers on your Funky FOld card are striking and the mouse with the beach ball is so darn cute! I love how you added the bottom piece to look like sand and the flip flops too!

Oh, that one in a million metal sticker would make anyone love receiving this card. Plus, it's gorgeous. I've never made a funky fold card before...looks like fun.

I love the beach card with the super sand and those great clouds. It's adorable all the way.

Glad you liked the freebie, silly me, running out of ink! I teamed it up with a sexy SteamPunk fairy, but didn't take a picture, I thought a young man would like the sexy fairy far more than some old medicine bottles!
Love this card shape, Think I've only ever made one this way. Very nice!

Carol,

Two more fabulous cards! Both are so different in style, yet each style is perfect for its respective card.

You continue to be an inspiration for me. :)
