Another Thank-you Card

I have another thank-you card to share today. This one uses Echo Park Victoria Garden dp along with a Spellbinders Labels Eighteen die. I edged both dies with a Marvy silver paint pen before cutting to make them stand out. The sentiment is from SU! and I added a flat "bow" just for fun. This dp is from another pack of DP I won on the Moxie Fab Blog back on WCMD. Isn't it gorgeous? I'm a huge fan of all the Echo Park papers, and this music paper is one of my favorites!
I'll have a couple more cards I've made with the beautiful papers I won in the coming days, but this might be one of my favorites.
I'm also linking this card up with the OWH Stars and Stamps mid-week challenge to make thank you cards in honor of OWH's former shipper Dixie as well as our heroes. I made 2 cards like this, so one will go to OWH.
Today we're celebrating our 43rd wedding anniversary and all I can say is WOW! Where did all those years go?! It just doesn't seem possible that we got married that long ago! We're leaving shortly to go visit my great aunt Kathryn who is a cheerful and very wise 106 years old! For me, going to see her is a great way to celebrate longevity, whether in marriage years or life years. We are all so blessed in so many ways!!
Thanks for stopping by and have a fantastic middle of the week!

Carol

So pretty - I especially like the die cut that the sentiment is on - beautiful - black and white rank highest for elegance - and you captured that!

Carol & Butch - Happy Anniversary. It's wonderful that you have had such a good long time together. And your aunt, that is so very wonderful that she is 106 years old. Bless all of you. Your card is just outstanding. Love the papers and when you outline the dies it just adds a whole new dimension to them. That flat bow really makes looka great. Looking forward to seeing more of your cards soon.
Enjoy the rest of your week and this year.

Congratulations on your 43rd wedding anniversary. Gosh, the years do fly right past us, don't they?

How wonderful that your great aunt has reached this ripe, old age. Bet she is spry as can be, though.

I love everything about your card. I was most struck by the music element and the silver outlines on the die. I also like the bow on the die too!
