A Yummy Birthday Celebration

Welcome to another Stamps R Us challenge. This week we're celebrating birthdays in honor of Operation Write Home and the Paper Shelter is our sponsor. I'll be sending this birthday card to OWH for our military. If you decide to play along and send your card to OWH, please avoid using glitter, as glittered cards are unacceptable! You can get all the details by clicking the OWH link above.
I'm using this pre-colored Paper Shelter digi called "yummy" and if you've never tried using colored digis before, this is something you'll definitely want to try! The Paper Shelter has oodles of gorgeously colored digis that you'll love to work with & this card went together in no time! I sponged the image with angel pink ink while it was in the die, and matted it with Close to Cocoa card stock. I added a computer-generated sentiment and a big piece of ribbon and tied it up with a button and some brown hemp.
Please check out the Stamps R Us blog for more fabulous DT inspiration. As always, you'll have 2 weeks to complete your birthday card and there will be a generous prize for one randomly drawn participant.
Thanks for stopping by today and have a fun, creative day!

  1. Carol what a cute card, although now I'm in the mood for ice cream and it is way to early in the day to start being that bad. Thanks for the link to Paper Shelter. I will have to try their colored digis. I've never tried using one before.
