While the race has been in a rain delay all afternoon, I made a couple cards. This one is for the Sweet Stop Sketch
SSS126. This week there's a spin on the sketch and it's "starstruck." There's a lot of room for interpretation, and although I didn't actually use any stars on my card, this little chickie dressed up in disguise for Halloween is a star in my eyes :) (cough cough!) I know - that's really a stretch, but I needed to make some Halloween cards for the grands :) I thought that big white circle looked too white against all the colors of the background, so I drew in tiny spiders all around the edge. The chick and her glasses were all colored with fluorescent Copics and I dotted the eyes with a white sharpie pen. The dots are stickers, and image and sentiment are from SU! Twick or Tweet.
This card is for the Stars & Stamps
sketch challenge 87. I really burned myself out making so many challenge cards last week, so I haven't been keeping up with the daily challenges over there for about a week, but I always try to get the weekly sketch done. This one was easy peasy, so I played along and made a few cards with this design. I just used 2 different embossing folders, and 2 shades of teal, along with a matching sentiment and a brad.
OK, it's time to get dinner going, so I may be watching the race at midnight if they don't soon postpone it! LOL Thanks for stopping by and have a great evening!
