I'm incredibly honored that Michelle asked me to participate in her Stamper's Dream & Friends blog hop today! Having the opportunity to join forces with these talented ladies is nothing short of exciting for me! I've known Michelle for a few years now and she carries all those great stamping supplies you want & need at StampersDream.com. You'll get super fast shipping and great customer service too! During this hop there will be some hidden blog candy along the way, so keep reading to learn how you might win!I made 2 cards today using this adorable Penny Black Easter March stamp that you can find at StampersDream.com. I had so much fun coloring this fun image! I used Copics and created the background using a plaid embossing folder with some small green & yellow ink pads. I stamped alternating squares of color on the top portion only of the embossing folder, then carefully closed it over the cardstock and ran it through my Big Kick machine. I love the look you can achieve by using your embossing folders this way. If you click the photo to enlarge it, you'll see the glossy accents & stickles I added for interest.
Here's the 2nd card I made. For this one I used 2 MS hydrangea punches to create the vellum flowers and pulled out the sewing machine for some stitching around the edge.There are 2 hidden blog candy prizes in this hop so you'll want to visit all of the participating blogs and leave a little love. The winners will be announced on the Stampers Dream blog on Thursday evening, April 14th as well as on each blog where the candy was hidden. Look at what you'll have a chance to win.....
