I received a new set of stamps in the mail today that I won during the last MFP Speedy The Cat's Friend's blog hop! Wheeeee!!! I had no idea what stamp set I'd receive - that's the best part of winning! They sent me a new set from their new unreleased stamps! I LOVE surprises, and this set called "Thankful Mums and Pumpkins" is what I received, and I could barely wait to ink it up once I opened it! I stamped the pumpkins on pumpkin pie card stock and embossed and cut them out. I used a scrap of green to stamp the stems and vines and cut them out and adhered them over the stamped image. I popped the pumpkins up on dimensionals, adding punched ferns and tan and brown hemp. I used some sage card stock for the base, stamping the leaf image with versamark. I added a couple punched leaves done with a MS punch and used some retired SU! dp for the horizontal strips. I used the Stars & Stamps #31 sketch for the layout.It really cooled down here this evening in PA, so fall must be just around the corner already! Make it a good one folks!

Very nice, Carol...and yes, It does remind me that Fall is coming...It does feel good to have the cooler weather...This is a neat stamp...I bet we will be seeing a lot more of your beautiful cards with this image.

I agree surprises are so much fun! The color combo you've used is really striking...that soft teal and the stripes are great with the browns and orange.
