Warm Wishes

I hope everyone had a fun celebration ringing in the new year, and along with the new year comes a cold snap in our weather. As the cold winds start blowing, it's time to share a card sending you some warm wishes. The background was embossed with a Darice Snowflake Swirl ef while the mug of warm cocoa was made with a Penny Black "What's in your Cup" set of dies. The warm wishes sentiment was double cut with a Sweet 'n Sassy set of ticket dies. I added a few drops of pale blue Nuvo drops randomly on the card to match the little blue heart on the cup.

I'm sharing this with -

Can You Handle the Pressure? - A/G embossing with a twist of "winter"

Word Power January2025 Challenge - showcase the sentiment

I'm taking a break from blogging while I try to sort through a lot of tech issues with my camera and computer. I've also collected a massive amount of crafting supplies through my blogging years since 2009 and it's time to step away from it for a while and clear the clutter.
I don't know when or if I'll be back to blogging cards again, but I never say never. Thanks for all your support and friendship through the years. I appreciate each and every one of you.
I guess I'll see you when I see you, so have a great day and take good care of yourselves in the meantime.
Keep smiling 😊
Carol

What a fun card and fits the bill to welcome in 2025. I understand your need to sort through tech issues and get things working properly. I also get the need to cut the clutter of crafting supplies. Things just pile up and all of a sudden, it's too much. We'll be here when you get back and thanks for your lovely comments and support too.

This is such a beautiful wintery card design my friend! I love the pretty wintry background so much and the warm cup of goodness goes so well with it!

I have to say that I'm soooo sad to see you leaving your blog, however, I totally understand and have been doing some thinking of what I'm going to do with all of the things I've accumulated and still seem to do along with other things. I hope you have the urge to come back soon regardless and know that you will be missed! HUGS

This is the perfect card on the perfect day! It is freezing out and those gusty winds are not helping at all!!! I love the thought behind this card. Great use of that awesome embossing folder and the cup die! I recently got myself some sf hot chocolate but have not tried it yet, today may be the day! I know you & I have chatted about leaving the blogging world. I will certainly miss you and all your works of art but totally understand. Take care of you and please keep in touch!

Love the die-cuts and beautiful embossed snowflake background. I have decluttered my craft stuff twice in the last couple of year, a few months ago got the local school to pick up a car full of stuff for their after school craft club and just kept some dies, papers and favourite stamps and fingers crossed am managing okay lol. Best wishes for the New Year and hope we see you back soon-take care.

A sudden cold snap here too so the cup of hot cocoa on this lovely card is very apt. Reading to the end I'm sorry to hear you are taking a break from blogging - rest assured you will be missed and I look forward to seeing you again once you've cleared the decks and sorted your tech issues. All the best 😊

A beautiful warm and cozy winter card Carol. Gosh, I hope you don't stay away too long. I too have a lot I should be doing other then card making, but I can't help myself, lol. I still have the extra bedroom full of all the household things I brought home when we sold our lake house, and that weas a year ago July, I need to take a deep breath and tackle it, I have given a lot of it away but the room is still full, well at least it keeps the guests away LOL. I never get rid of any of my card making supplies, I just might need it, HAH! Stay in touch, won't you??

Super card Carol, the fabulous embossing makes a great background. I need to tackle my craft room too and have a major declutter. Good luck with your decluttering, hope it won't be too long before you are back blogging again.

Carol, your card is absolutely stunning! The embossed snowflake background and the cozy mug of cocoa are perfect for this chilly season. I completely understand the need to take a break and declutter. Your creativity and warmth will be missed, but I hope you find the time to return to blogging when you're ready. Thank you for all the inspiration and joy you've shared over the years. Take care and keep smiling
