A very thoughtful friend sent me 2 new SU! embossing folders recently since she accidentally bought 2 of them. Lucky me! I pulled out a Creative Expressions mini Daisy Doo stencil and some distress ink and put this card together. The stenciled flowers look like the embossed flowers and I thought they were a good match. The embossed panel was a snippet and I matched the ink color to that panel. I found a snippet of matching ribbon and attached it to the panel, tying a piece of twine into a bow to anchor the ribbon. I added some Aqua Stickle dots to the center of each stenciled flower; used a Sweet 'n Sassy stamped sentiment and called this one done.
I'm sharing this with the following challenges:
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - add a sentiment - they're featuring Lawn Fawn but you don't have to use them.
the Little Red Wagon challenge #769 - Sparkle and shine
the August Stencil Fun Challenge - A/G using a stencil *opt - Summertime
Can You Handle the Pressure? August 10, 2024 - A/G use a stencil
*Optional theme - wheels
Thanks for stopping by and I hope your day is a good one!

Such a beautiful monochromatic card design! Really love that daisy stenciled background as well as your embossed daisy panel with it! The twine bow over your chevron ribbon is a lovely accent to your design as well! Beautifully done my friend!
Beautiful monochrome card, the embossed and stencilled flowers do match perfectly.

Your friend's mistake was lucky for you. Love the way you've matched the stencilling to the embossing.
Hi just popping back to say thank you for the lovely comment, I have always used a desk top computer too-a lot easier.

Great monochromatic card, you even had ribbon to match, like how you tied it with twine. Nice sentiment too!
Wow, that's a cute embossing folder and your matching stenciling looks so pretty with it. Gorgeous color of aqua.
A really beautiful design, it all meshes together so well and lucky you to be given the 'gift' of the EB folders!
