Christmas Snowflake

My Christmas card was done with traditional red and green colors with a splash of white. The embossed background was used for backing in a card someone sent to me and I decided it was time to make a card out of it since it was so pretty. I added a stitched die-cut Lawn Fawn snowflake from a random piece of white card, and found a small snippet of glittered red card from which I cut the Kaiser Craft sentiment. I also used a teeny tiny piece of the red to die-cut the center of the snowflake and called this one done.

Since this card was made entirely from snippets, I'm sharing it with

Also sharing it with the Rudolph Days May Challenge - A/G Christmas

Thanks for stopping by and I hope your weekend is a great one.
For my US friends, I hope you're having a wonderful Memorial Day weekend
in the kick-off to summer.

Hi Carol! Wow, that background really caught my eye. I've had trouble embossing on shiny paper like that, I end up with cracking. What a pretty card, and it doesn't look like it took a lot of time. Nice job on shaming me into not working on Christmas cards all year long, too!

There is always something so striking about the embossed foiled backgrounds! How cool that you were able to repurpose it for something else! The snowflake die and sparkly red pop out beautifully on this design! I love it! Happy Memorial weekend my friend!

Your traditional Christmas card with red, green, and white colors is absolutely festive and inviting. The repurposed embossed background adds a lovely touch of texture, and the use of snippets for the stitched die-cut snowflake and sentiment showcases your creativity and resourcefulness perfectly.
