Anniversary

I have friends who will be celebrating their 46th wedding anniversary next month, so I made this card for them. Instead of putting the number 46 on the card, I opted to put 4 pearls in one corner and 6 pearls in the other to indicate the number of years they've been together. I found this pretty piece of dsp in my stash and die-cut it with a Lil Inker stitched rectangle. The golden heart was done with a stitched die and the sentiment is from SU!'s Beautiful Bouquet (retired). I heat-embossed it with gold ep and used a very old (retired) SU! oval punch to cut it, then placed it on the heart.

I'm sharing this card with the Allsorts Challenge blog week #781 - A/G

They're celebrating their 15th birthday this week with a big celebration so you might want to check the details by clicking the link above.

Thanks for stopping by and make this a great week whatever you do!

An elegant card - great idea to put the carefully placed pearls instead of a number
