Valentine's Day Card

Here's a simple Valentine I made from leftover strips of designer paper from an old SU! paper pad. I took a scrap of white cardstock and put adhesive all over the top, then snipped the designer paper into random shapes and sizes and added them to the adhesive, leaving spaces around all the edges. Next I sprinkled silver embossing powder over the whole piece and heat set it, then die cut it with a stitched heart die and placed it on top of a silver heart-shaped doily. I added the Simon Says Stamp little die-cut bunny on top with a little red heart, added a sentiment and called this one done.

This will be my homework for the Snippets Playground Challenge #473.

Thanks for stopping by and have yourself a great Monday!

Carol

This clever card is just right for your Snippets homework - clever idea to snip up the red scraps and then once stuck down to die cut that stitched heart. The lacy heart is a pretty design too - a winner all round

Great minds and all that. We both added hearts to doilies! This is cute as can be and I would be delighted to help with your taxes. You provide the wine.
