I made and sent both of these cards already so I thought I'd share them today. The turquoise and black version was done with an older Sizzix embossing folder and the anniversary sentiment was done with a Kat Scrappiness die. The tiny hearts were done with a retired SU! mini punch.
Here's another version done in a berry color with a Sunny studio quilted hearts embossing folder.
I'm sharing the first card with these challenges:
Can You Handle the Pressure? January 13, 2024 - A/G using an embossing folder with an optional twist of snow people
The Word Power Challenge #1 - The sentiment must be the focus of your card.
Allsorts Challenge week #763 - make your own background or A/G
Thanks so much for stopping by and have yourself a great day!

These are lovely anniversary cards. I like to send those because most people don't get anniversary cards, especially if they've been married a long time.
ReplyDeleteGreat cards! I like the embossing folders you used for the backgrounds!
ReplyDeleteLove them both, Carol! Love your color choices and the design! I love the embossing on each card which just makes your colors pop! Well done, my friend! TFS! Stay warm! Hugs~
ReplyDeleteTwo beautifully done cards, great color scheme on both and wonderful texture achieved with the embossing folders. Thanks so much for sharing with us at Allsorts challenge this week!

To great cards using the embossing folders. I have been determined to use all my white scraps of card stock up and have now put them all through my various embossing folders so I have no excuse not to use on any future cards that i make. Hugs Mrs A.
ReplyDeleteTwo lovely anniversary cards with pretty embossed backgrounds Carol. Xxx
ReplyDeleteYour cards are beautiful, I love the embossed backgrounds. I must dig out my embossing machine and use it again, or give it away! Hugs, Valerie

I adore dry embossed panels and love how you just added the sentiments so they aren't covered up too much!
ReplyDeleteA generic C&P comment as unable to type much (MS flare up) just to let you know I popped by to take a peek and thank you for joining Allsorts.

Two wonderful anniversary cards. I love that as crafters we can make multiple cards, change colors to get a new look and build our stash with some quick color changes.
