Christmas Treats

I made this little basket and filled it with treats and took it to my bank recently. They marveled over everything and I've been doing this for a number of years, so as long as I'm here, I'll continue making these treats and handing them out.

These are 2 empty Talenti Gelato containers I saved and wrapped with paper and ribbon to hold some taco-flavored pretzels I make every year.

Here is how I decorated the lids. I used a Lawn Fawn stitched snowflake with a gemstone in the center and a stitched die-cut circle.

Here are  a few more of the treat containers in front of the pretzels.
(click the photo to enlarge for detail)
Some have cookies, some have chocolate covered jelly sticks and the tiny boxes contain either Lindor Truffles or some whiskey cream chocolates. I used Lawn Fawn tiny boxes and an assortment of punches, papers, stamps, and die cuts to decorate them, while the 2 reindeer boxes on the end were made for children and have Christmas M&M's inside. For those I used the Tiny Box Reindeer add-ons.

I will share a few more treats I made within the next day or two so stay tuned for more!

Thanks for stopping by and I know most of you are busy preparing for the holidays too, so take care and keep smiling. 😊 Have a great week ahead!

Carol

What a fun thing to do. Each box looks so nicely decorated. You’re a star. Lucky to find bank premises with actual staff inside many of our towns these days - they’re closing down at a rate of knots! X

Wow, Carol, you are so kind, generous, and thoughtful! I bet they love to see you come in to the bank and I think you get great service! My bank is an online bank with no fees, so there are no people LOL, only on the phone. I am so impressed with everything you made! It all sounds and looks so yummy, and those little reindeer boxes are the cutest! It's all about the giving, just like we received the most loving gift of all from our Heavenly Father, when he gave us his only begotten Son. Merry wishes to you, my friend. I know this will be a tough holiday for you, mixed with much sadness, so I have been praying for you, for strength and comfort. Sending hugs and well wishes.
