I've made several Halloween cards using this candy corn die a friend gifted me with several years ago so I'll share one today. It's time to use up the Halloween papers I've been hanging onto for so long, so I cut the smaller pieces into strips and made a herringbone background for this card. The trick or treat stamped image was done with a SU! Tags 4 You set (2013-2014) on orange cardstock and cut with the coordinating punch. I added a green gel sticker just for a fun accent.
The same friend who gifted me with the candy corn die, also gifted me with an envelope of fun die cuts so I added 2 of them here on the inside. I added some fluorescent Copic colors to the cauldron and added a SSS pre-printed sentiment along with another snippet of retired SU! Halloween paper.
I'll share this card with the following challenges:
Shopping Our Stash Challenge #507 - Franken-Card / Halloween
Craft Rocket Challenges #108 - Autumn and/or Halloween
Allsorts Challenge week 749 - Vintage or A/G
Retro Rubber Challenge #217 - A/G using stamps older than 1 year
That's going to do it for me today so thanks as always for stopping by and have a great day whatever you do.

A fun Halloween card - love the inside details
Oh my, these are both adorable, Carol!! Love the background on the Candy Corn card with all those little strips of paper! Isn't that Candy Corn Die so fun? I love the added Trick or Treat sentiment added to it. And the witch card is the cutest! Love the diecuts! Great job using up your stash! I seriously need to do this with Christmas now....I have tons that will take 200 years to use up but I guess we don't think of these things when we keep buying & buying! TFS and I wish you a wonderful day! Hugs~
Great cards, I especially like the candy corn die and the background!
Great Halloween card love the dies inside and out and the herringbone background you created-great use of scraps.

Well done using the smallest pieces of your papers to make that wonderful background for the fun candy corn die! I should use my patterned papers more, instead hoarding them, so thanks for the prompt! :). Love the colours choice for the candy corn, it really pops! The inside of your card is a striking surprise, such beautiful silhouette diecuts! The sticker you added on the cauldron is the perfection.
Big hugs dear friend, enjoy your days. I too pray for peace, but there are too many people that want wars.
Both are so adorable! I could really go for a real piece of that candy corn that large too! YUMMY! Cute card and I love the strips of background paper and design. Love the second card to with that cute little witch. Precious cards!

These are really adorable Halloween cards Carol! I've not seen a candy corn die like that before! Very cool and unique as is that background with the paper strips! Such a clever card! That witch is super fun in the silhouette style too! I love them both!
A beautiful card full of colour and gorgeous design.. loving this ♥
You have great friends that are sending you such wonderful things. You sure used both to make wonderful Halloween cards. I agree we all need to pray for peace. It seems so frivolous to sit down and watch tv when people are engaged in war and dying on the other side of the world.
Ha, I thought these were two separate cards Carol! LOL I love that candy corn die, it is very cool. You herringbone pattern background looks great, the candy corn displays on it nicely. Love how fun the inside is, that witch die is fabulous! Hugs, Brenda
They are both so cute, Carol! Love how you made the background with scraps on the first card! I like Halloween colours as they are very similar to fall colours, which I adore! Hope you have a peaceful weekend, my friend.
What fun Halloween cards! Love the candy corn die! Some people don't like candy corn, but I love it especially when mixed with peanuts, yum! And, the witch card is too cute!
Two great Halloween cards. The first one used the herringbone technique perfectly and is a great way to use paper strips we all seem to have in our stash. I love the witch die cut on the second card too.
These cards are so cute and clever
