Halloween for Kids

I was playing around with some snippets of PTI Bitty Box Basics paper I've had for years and cut them into strips and adhered them to a snippet of cardstock; then cut it down to make a vertical panel. I have a couple wee ones to make Halloween cards for and I don't like to make them too scary, so I pulled out this SU! image (2002) and colored it and made a little framed photo of it by using a retired SU! corner punch with a snippet of black cardstock. I stenciled a portion of the card base with colors to match the vertical panel and added some Lawn Fawn candy corn, along with some SSS pre-printed sentiments placed on snippets of purple and black cardstock. I added a green enamel sticker just for fun.

Sharing this with the Snippets Playground #462 as well as the

Thanks for stopping by and I wish you a wonderful day. For those celebrating Labor day today, enjoy the holiday!

Gorgeous card, spooky and fun, just right for children. I love spooky, but it doesn't have to be really scary. Have a great week, hugs, Valerie

I like the non-scary images for Halloween too. This one is so cute and you made it into a precious card. Love the way you did the stripe panel on the side.

So cute and not scary at all. Just the little ones ready to trick-or=treat. Pretty coloring.

That is one adorable SU Image. I am not sure that I have ever seen it. I almost thought it was Penny Black. Great coloring of it too.

This is a darling Halloween card Carol! I love how you did the striped panel, so cute along with the stenciled dots in those fun colors. But it is the image that is just too cute! Yep, I like sweet and cute Halloween cards over the spooky or scary too! Hugs, Brenda
