Years ago I bought some self adhesive papers from QVC and tried to use up the smaller snippets of them by creating this card. I cut each piece (along with a snippet of pink cardstock) into 1/4" strips and adhered them to a scrap of card stock in a diagonal pattern, cutting it into a panel that I placed on the card front. I die-cut the border with a SNSS ribbon die and wove some tan ribbon into it and placed it over the panel of strips. The image panel is a print that came in a 12x12 paper pad as well as the snippet of paper backing it. The little angel was cut using an IO die from matching snippets of the pink cardstock I used to cut the border die.
I'll enter this into the Snippets Playground #461 since everything was made from snippets.
Thanks for stopping by and I wish you a wonderful Sunday!

Oh Carol, we are twins! I have so many products from QVC that I haven't used yet! I'm glad to see you using yours. I even took a day off work once to watch Lisa Bearnson when she was on. I like this ribbon die and it's so cool how you added the tan ribbon through it. A cute, clever card.
Super card Carol and a great way to use snippets. xx
I love the way you did the strips of paper on this and need to try and do something like that. Good way to use up some of the smaller pieces of patterned paper or card stock. VERY pretty card and the angel is so pretty on here. Love!

Beautiful card that will brighten the recipients day!
What a great snippets card Carol.
Thanks for entering a piece of homework to the Snippets Playground. See you on the swings later xxx
What a beautiful design with those strips! I also love how you've made the word square part of the layer behind your sentiment! It's sets if off nicely and another way to use the papers! The threaded ribbon through the border is a nice element too! Such a brilliant card!
Beautiful details and papers on this lovely card Carol.

Those adhesive papers are so sweet and you used so well their snippets!Great idea making a panel with them, I always tend to make backgrounds with stripes but they are a bit demanding to make a card later, instead in your way there is open space for a better design, thanks for sharing the idea. Love so much the ribbon diecut with the tan ribbon woven inside, it looks so precious and sweet, as well the little angel and the sentiment.
Here is already Sunday evening, so I wish you a wonderful new week! :D
Hugs and love on your way!
This card is so pretty, Carol! I love the panel of different papers and your beautiful ribbon diecut! The angel steals the show though....just the perfect addition! Love the colors! Well done, my friend!!
