Another Masculine Birthday Card

I found it difficult to photograph this card  for some reason, but it looks much better in real life. The Stampendous image was inked with Versamark and stamped on a sturdy kraft remnant; then embossed with gold ep, adding a little bit of coloring with markers and Copics. I used a piece of Pacific Point cardstock for the base and added a strip of matching polka dot paper for the SSS pre-printed sentiment. I found some glitter gold die-cut bits leftover from a previous cutting and added them just for a little sparkle and fun.

Here's another photo angle but unfortunately neither one clearly shows the card the way I hoped it would appear.

I'm entering this into the following challenges:

Critter Crazy Challenge #77 - A/G featuring a critter

The Male Room Challenge #177 - Dots and/or Stripes

That's it for me today but here's wishing you a great day and thanks so much for stopping by!

Carol

A lovely image - shame that sometimes we just can't seem to get a decent photo to show our work to advantage.

That's an awesome image! WOW! Love that stamp and the way you've inked it up in gold is so pretty. Love everything about this - and the polka dots peeking out from the sentiment are fun!

Some cards just photograph well but I can see the beautiful horse. What a great stamp that is. The bright polka adds a fun touch.

That image is really stunning! I always found it hard to find a good horse image and I love the sketchbook feel to this one! Once I enlarged it, I can clearly see the pretty gold embossed lines! Such a pretty card with the kraft and pops of blue colors!

It's a wonderful horse and I remember you used a lot this stamp in the past. The golden embossed lines look great on the kraft base and love you added some colour here and there. Enlarging the photo I can see well your card and appreciate the sparkling. Love so much the stripe of polka DP that enhances the sentiment and those glittered embellishment, well done for using those leftovers!
It's a perfect masculine card, and with my DT hat on the head I thank you very much for joining us at We Love Stamping!

Oh Carol, I am loving this card! The horse image is just gorgeous!!! Love that you embossed it in gold and I can imagine how it must look in person-the shine from the gold and your coloring....just gorgeous! That blue makes it really pop too. Love, love, love!!! Hope you haven't been getting any of these storms that have been raging around PA. Hugs, Brenda
