This card was made from snippets found in my large stash of leftover bits and pieces. The brown panel was embossed with a Tasteful Textiles EF from SU! and the flowers were cut with a Memory Box Prim Poppy die. The lightly textured tan panel was saved from a pile of note cards my mother had with her name printed at the top. I added some pink Nuvo drops for the finishing touch and added this to a pink card base.
I'm sharing this with the following challenges:
The Allsorts Challenge week #737 - A/G or use this mood board
Can You Handle the Pressure - use an embossing folder A/G * twist of stars
Beautiful Blossoms Challenge #7 - A/G Flowers or use this mood board

Great interpretation of the Allsorts mood board and also for the other challenges. Loving that Memory Box dainty poppy die which looks delicate against the textured embossing. Hope your weather isn't too severe tomorrow - quite wet and windy here too at the moment with storm warnings in place ๐. Good excuse to stay indoors and craft though
Beautiful card Carol, elegant design using one of my favourite flower dies. Thank you for joining in the Allsorts Challenge this week.
Torrential rain here today. It's only just stopped, so looks like it will be a crafting day and catching up on my blog visiting. xx
That's really neat that you could save one of your moms note cards and use it on this card. You've used my very favorite die ever - Every card made with it is always so special and beautiful just like this one. I LOVE this!
Lynn
Lovely card, like your color combination and the embossed brown with your die cut flowers!
Hi Carol, I love that textured strip that you added under the beautiful poppies, it makes them really stand out. And the little drops are just perfect. Have a great weekend, take care, hugs, Valerie
Beautiful card and poppies, love the embossed strip too

That is such a fun idea to save one of your mom's notecards to use! I love that delicate looking flower and the texture on your panel strip is so pretty which also goes well with that notecard paper too! Stay safe and enjoy the weekend!
Hi Carol! So sweet thought using one of your mother's note cards to make this thinking of you card! The whole design is delicate and feminine and love that brown textured background that makes the pink poppies stand out so well! Also the little drops looks great!
Big congrats for your spotlight at Allsorts, well deserved for sure, that Christmas card was so striking!
Hope that the storm lasts only a little and is not too strong. Here in Italy the weather is very different depending on the areas. I certain zones there are storms and floods, but here and in other areas there is a great HOT and the sun shines too much.
Please take care and be peaceful at home enjoying craft.
Hugs and God blessings, dear Carol!
Gorgeous card, background and die used Carol, as always a pleasure to view. Lovely details here x
Hope you’re keeping safe and that the storm passes quickly. We had howling gales yesterday!
LOVE this pretty card with the dainty flower . . . and I spy an embossing folder in use too!!! Lovely layout x
This is beautiful, Carol! I love the pretty dainty flower die and the embossed layer! And such soft colors! Well done! Rain came thru here around midnight. We had 2 very loud cracks of thunder that made me sit straight up in bed. Scared the living you know what out of me. No rain this morning but it's cloudy. Shawn went fishing down in Maryland this morning which I was surprised he went with rain in the forecast but he laughed and said the fish are already wet! LOL Stay cool...it sure it tropical outside!
Great use of texture and die. Thanks for joining us at Allsorts challenge.

What a pretty and CAS card you have made Carol! I love this die, I keep saying I'm going to get it. Maybe I have, but don't think so. LOL Who knows, that is the problem with having too much stuff! Anyway, I love the soft pink you used for this one. So pretty! Hugs, Brenda
I love this die cut. It has been a bit since I used it. Great coloring and layout for it.
I love how you've used muted tones and kept the card simple, but retained interest with the different paper textures. Very unique and wonderful card! Thank you so much for joining us at the Happy Little Stampers Anything Goes with Dies challenge!
That poppy die is always so pretty, nice card.
Thanks for linking this up at Beautiful Blossoms Challenge!
