One More Christmas in July Card

I'm going through my older stamps and trying to use them again before preparing for another purge. I pulled out this Sweet 'n Sassy Itty Bitty stamp set and made a simple card. I stamped the images and colored them with glaze pens, and then fussy cut each one They all have little stitches on each side, so when I glued them down on the snippet of Lawn Fawn dsp, I took a black marker and added the stitches that I snipped off from the edges. The sentiment is a very old wooden stamp I had in my stash and it just seems to be a perfect fit for this simple design.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you've gotten a head start on your Christmas stash with all the Christmas in July challenges! Have a great weekend!

A cute Christmas card and I have made none. I love going through my older stamps and dies and loving them again. The red plaid paper is a great background for these cute little stamps and I love the stitching.

Super card which just goes to prove that it's worth pulling out some of our older stamps. It will soon be Christmas in August 😀

Well done of using some of your older stash Carol, I often feel so guilty much gets neglected. It's a lovely design with a great seasonal feel.

This reminds me a cute Christmas quilt! I love your use of those smaller stamps and your idea to add the stitched lines along the edges was very brilliant as it brought them out with your sentiment! Enjoy your weekend friend!

I sketched out something similar to this design a couple of days ago for one of my Christmas cards this year. I LOVE the stamping of those tiny images. Precious and so pretty AND a perfect card for the holidays too!

Your old stamps are so cute and love the doodled stitching you added to the edges, it makes the squares pop so well on the sweet gingham paper. Love the font of the sentiment and I agree, it's just perfect to match your design!
Sending big hugs and hope you are cool and well today and in the days ahead!
