Whenever I have bits of cardstock that are too small for bigger projects, I use a 1" square punch to cut them and put them into a little box. When I find the box getting full, I sort them out and adhere all of them to a scrap piece of cardstock to make a background. For this card, I used a set of GMD dies to make the background and image panel. The die-cut sentiment was done with an unbranded die a friend gifted me with years ago, and that too was made from colorful leftover bits of cardstock. I added 3 tiny gemstones for the finishing touch. I made a few Easter cards like this and they're already in the mail.

What a fun way to use scraps. Punching them into squares and saving them is awesome and what a fun panel they made. Cute card and so bright and spring like.

Wow! Not only this is a clever habit to save snippets, but what a perfect die you used to enhance your panel made by little squares! I haven't a one-inch punch, but now I will see in my stash if I find a punch that could be used with the same token. Thanks so much for the inspiration!! You are always so full of simple, brilliant ideas!! :D Love the focal sentiment with that cute and colourful Easter you made with snippets too! Very well done!
