Get Well Wishes

I found time today to make a get well card by using a very old strip embossing folder by Cuttlebug and a few strips of retired dsp from SU!. I embossed the strip of white, and colored the embossed sections with Copics and glaze pens. I used 2 Sweet'n Sassy border dies to create the yellow and green borders of scallops and grass. I stenciled the sky with some Taylored Expressions cloud templates and some Tumbled Glass ink, then stamped some Sweet'n Sassy birds in the sky. The sentiment is from SU! (R) Teeny Tiny Wishes and it's backed with a small snippet of coral colored dsp from SU!

I'll share with these challenges:

Can You Handle the Pressure? - A/G embossing with a twist of borders.

Here's a pic of the strip embossing folder I used

I haven't been able to figure out how to post the picture of my card side-by-side with this image 😕

Thanks for stopping by today and I wish you all a good weekend!

Great use of border dies and the subtle cloudy sky sets it them off well. Some neat colouring on the flowers, thought at first it was a separate die cut.

Beautiful as always, Carol! I love that embossed flower and the way you add ink to it makes it stand out! The stenciled sky and your birds create a pretty scene perfect for a get well card! This is sure to brighten someone's day! Have a great day!

Hi dear friend! I can never place the images side by side, it's possible only if they are very small. Your get well card is very sweet, love so much the way you paired the embossed/coloured panel with that dotted grass and the scallop border, they all work so well together! And it's a great way to use scraps :) The delicate cloudy sky looks delightful with the birds silhouettes! Well done once again!
Hugs, peace and love on your path!
