Happy Spring

Spring is just around the corner, so I decided to make a card to welcome the warmer weather. I found this assembled die-cut butterfly in my snippets box - all ready to be used on a card. I embossed the background with an Anna Griffin embossing folder, added a piece of orange and white checked ribbon and a Spellbinders grommet tag die-cut sentiment panel with a Sweet 'n Sassy stamped sentiment. I added a few metal brads just for fun and to use up some of my collection I've accumulated through the years. Here's hoping spring comes sooner than later - I'm ready for warm weather!

I'll share this with

Thanks for stopping by and I wish everyone a pleasant and stress-free day!

This is lovely and I'm so glad to see brads. Somehow we think we need to use the newest products and not use what we have. It is refreshing to see the ribbon and brads and how much they add to your card. I love that embossing folder too.

Fabulous card and like how all the little pieces are put in the butterfly, that took a bit of time and patience, well worth it, like the fun of a jigsaw puzzle!

Beautiful card! And it did feel like spring today, I am so ready for it. It's hard to believe the ground was so white with the snow just a few days ago. We both used embossing folders today. It's been a while since I have done that. I like the embossing folder that you used. Don't remember seeing that one before. Hope you have a good week! Hugs, Jill

Aww Spring, I believe it's Sunday 😉

Lovely card and impressive at some point you added all the paper piecing then squirreled it away in your box, everything finds The right card eventually. The embossing on white really is pretty as a backdrop... A nice reminder that warmer days are round the corner x
