Today I have a "sending love" card that I'll be using for a valentine. I embossed the black background with a Sizzix Hearts die and then used a Simon Says Stamp stacked hearts die to cut the main panel from white card stock and red glitter paper. The sentiments were from a Catherine Pooler stamp set, fussy cut and backed with more red glitter paper.

How Wonderful Carol, I love the, shall I say? the "simplicity" of this design, beautiful in red and black with the embossed hearts showing so well under the red and the simple sentiment. Love it.

Those sparkling red hearts with their white border have a clear, peaceful and tidy deployment and pop so well from the chaotic black mixture of hearts in the background. Your card speaks to me so much as a symbolic situation. (My mind always blows away, sorry... :D ) It's a very artistic and beautiful card for Valentine!

Wow that's a cracker of a Valentine's card, the black base embossed was a bold choice but it works so well with the gorgeous sparkly red.
I'm pretty sure you could enter this beauty into Color Hues where the challenge is black and red :) x

Fantastic card! Black and red are a perpetual favourite colour combo for me (which, interestingly enough, I decided to try and inject more of into our home decor from this year onward), so that just makes me adore and enjoy this terrific greeting all the more.
