Happy Spring

I'm tired of winter and looking forward to spring's arrival, so I made this card. I started by taking strips of retired SU! dsp and lining them up in a row, then after adhering, I cross cut them and arranged them into a little pattern. After that, I die-cut that piece with a stitched circle die. I die-cut a smaller circle, then stenciled clouds with some Tumbled Glass ink, and stamped a SNSS image and colored it with Copics and glaze pens. I had one strip of the snippets left over, so I cut it in half and placed it on an unused strip of the blue to make the border. The background was embossed with an Anna Griffin ef and the final touch was a little twine bow.

I'll enter this into the following challenges:

Can You Handle the Pressure?- use an EF with a twist of "think spring"

Cardz 4 Galz #167 - things with wings

Little Red Wagon #642 - make it stitched

Thanks for stopping by and may you all have a good week ahead!

Carol

This card is exactly what I needed to see this morning, Carol! It sure is another cold, breezy morning but that sunshine is really nice! I am ready for spring to arrive too! Your card is every bit of lovely with those papers and I love the patchwork circle under your cute chic! The embossing folder adds some nice texture and finishes your card beautifully! Well done, my friend! TFS and have yourself a wonderful week with lots of sunshine!
