I had a piece of this black DCWV dsp on my desk and thought something red would look great with it, so I pulled out a piece of red cardstock and stamped an image from SU's Fifth Avenue Floral set with Versamark and then embossed it with black ep. I stamped 3 leaves from a Hero Arts set and fussy cut everything and placed it on the dsp, popping up the rose with foam dots. I added 5 little red gemstones along with a pre-printed Simon Says Stamp sentiment on the bottom and called this one done.
I'm sharing it with the following challenges:
Allsorts challenge week #662 - A/G optional red flowers
Seize the Birthday #231 - sparkle & shine (red gemstones)
The Flower Challenge #65 - occasions (birthday)
The Color Hues Challenge #34 - Red & Black
That's it for me today, but as always, I do thank you for stopping by and I wish everyone a pleasant Sunday!

Pretty card with the red and black and I like how you arranged the gems!
I like the simplicity of this card and not easy to achieve with the grid background but this works a treat and boy does that rose pop x
The bright red rose really pops against the black patterned paper! Your fussy cutting is impressive. Thanks for joining us at Color Hues!
Black and white with a pop of red is one of the best color combos! I really like this bold card!
Timelessly pretty card. It is as home in this, the month of Valentine's Day, as at any other point in the year when love is the air.
