Sharing a bright birthday card today made with assorted size strips of PTI bitty box designer papers along with a die-cut butterfly and a Gina Marie Designs die-cut birthday sentiment. I added a couple Taylored Expressions enamel stickers onto the butterfly's body just for fun. Everything was placed on a pale pink card base. Very quick and simple card.

It's simple but very effective! Beautiful bold colours and the dp pattern looks so well with the intricate butterfly with the special touch of the light blue dots! Love the cursive font of the sentiment too!

What a super creative way to use up small scraps of patterned paper giving them a new lease of life. The butterfly matted onto the black makes sure it pops and remains the focal point. I like how this turned out and how you use papers x

I absolutely adore the inclusion of black on the butterfly. It creates a wonderful sense of depth and helps this charming winged critter stand out all the more against that lovely sea of sweet, springtime-perfect hues.
