Happy New Year to everyone!
I hope your celebrations were fun and festive and that you're all looking forward to better things to come in 2022. We spent a quiet evening at home until the fireworks all went off at midnight! 😊
Today I have a New Year's card made with red, black and silver mirror cardstock. The image is from an older SU! set called Antique Tags and I colored it with Copics, adding some clear Wink of Stella to the champagne in the glasses. The silver border was done with peel-off stickers and I added a piece of embossed vellum which was dotted with Stickles in the colors of red, black, silver and gold.
(sorry for the poor photo - it's gloomy and raining here and there's no sunshine to take good pictures so I had to use artificial light)

Such a perfect card for New Years, Carol! I love all the pops of silver & sparkle! I remember that stamp set (wish I would have gotten it)!! We had a quiet evening at home, too, asleep by 10pm then the fireworks had us awake & the 2 dogs barking! We got our pork & saurkraut ready for supper today and I sure hope it brings us lots of luck this year! Happy New Year, my friend! Sending you love & hugs~

Happy New Year my dear friend!! Hope it will bring to all of us a lot of joy, health, heart and freedom. Here the fireworks were as a war... my cats went under the furnitures to hold themselves and I would have gladly done the same! LOL :D I hate fireworks sounds!
Such classy and festive card, love the vintage feel of the image and all the colourful sparkling dots on the vellum! The sticker border adds a wonderful elegant touch!

My favourite colour combination, looks awesome and I do really like the peel offs added for a border. It's nice to incorporate old fashions into future cards.
Urgh, I was fast asleep when all the fireworks over here started and boy did it wake me up... and I hate being awake for the start of New Year, I'm more a Christmas person :) x

We had fireworks a plenty going off all round us. One was very good and had the fireworks going high up into the sky. Better than those on the Thames. All watched in safety from our bedroom window. Wishing you a Happy, Healthy and Crafty New Year. Hugs Mrs A.

Super elegant New Year's design. So chic and eye-catchingly beautiful. I don't believe I've seen that older SU set at work. What a charmer! I might have a go at seeing if anyone is selling it for a good deal on eBay. :)
