Purple Christmas Anyone?

I don't know where the idea for this card came from other than the fact I had silver, lavender, and purple snippets on my table at the time it was made. Those who know me know purple is my favorite color, but I'm not sure if I like this color used on a Christmas card or not. It's finished so I'm going to share it with you anyway. Different strokes for different folks, right?
I had a strip of lawn fawn cardstock that I embossed with a retired SU! snow flurry embossing folder. I also had some silver sparkly washi tape (r) from SU! that I've been wanting to use, so I placed 3 die-cut stitched squares in light lavender on the washi tape and added 3 die-cut stars done with purple mirror card and a silver brad to each center. The sentiment is from KaiserCraft and was die-cut with more purple mirror card.

I'm entering this into the following challenges:

Christmas non-traditional colors
{ I really nailed this challenge didn't I?} 😉

Happy Holidays/Christmas

December anything Christmas goes

Thanks for stopping by and I hope everyone is having a good Wednesday!
Take care and stay well!

Great to use up bits and pieces which are ready to hand and Christmas seems to come in many unusual colours these days.

Eye-catching design, I do like that shiny purple you've used on the sentiment as it reminds me of baubles. I think it's nice to see a non traditional colour Christmas card :) x

The colors blend so well together even if they aren't traditional. That is a beautiful embossing folder and the washi tape is so pretty. A beautiful Christmas card. There is no rule saying Christmas cards must be red and green and I like that you did you.

How delightfully lovely. Purple suits winter well, in my opinion. It is a regal, elegant hue that compliments white, silver, and gold all superbly.

It's surprising, really, that we don't see more purple throughout December. Thank you for reminding us how gorgeously it works for the festive season.

I'm normally a traditional Christmas color person myself, but when I do venture into the non-traditional, I like to use purple. It's still kind of an icy color scheme so it works I think. Anyway, this card is simple and beautiful! And I love that you were able to use up some snippets and other items you've been waiting to use. I bet that purple mirrored card stock looks fabulous in real life! Thanks for playing with The House That Stamps Built.
