Kraft & Red Christmas Cards

I have had this Delta Santa Collage image stamp from Rubber Stampede for quite a few years, (probably ten) and every year I make a few cards with it. Today I'm sharing 2 Christmas cards using red and kraft. For the first one, I lightly colored Santa's face with some skin tone Copics and added a white heat-embossed sentiment on a panel of kraft. There's a strip of embossed snowflakes behind the image, all placed on a red and white polka dot piece of designer paper.

For this version, I used a piece of SU! (r) diagonally striped dsp and added 6 punched stars from some red cardstock, adding gold beads to the centers. I also colored Santa's glasses with a red glitter pen.

I'm going to share these cards with the Color Hues Challenge #28 which is to use the colors of red and kraft.

Also sharing with the Retro Rubber Challenge #169 - A/G
(must use stamps older than 1 year)

It's a quick post from me today, I have a lot of things to tend to. Thanks for stopping by and make it a great day!

Carol

That's a proper traditional looking Santa, love the subtle colouring and how just his glasses are coloured red on the second card. Two great cards that look super in kraft and red x
