Flying By

I'm sharing a Halloween card today just to switch things up a bit.
I used a Taylored Expressions set of stencils to create the sky with some Wilted Violet DI, then added a die-cut bat (I think by Darice) along with some smaller bats done with stick stamps from Judith. I dug into my doo-dad container and found 2 small orange hexagon negatives and used them for eyes, adding black drawn-in circles and then some white glaze pen dots in the centers. I added a white fence done with a MS punch, then embossed the Gorgeous Grape panel with a SU! spider web ef and added a SSS pre-printed sentiment. I scribbled a snippet of white cardstock with a Neon FY1 Copic marker, then die-cut it with an IO ghost die, backing it with black for the eyes and mouth.

I'll enter this into the following challenges:

Two Old Bats Halloween Challenge for March - a/g with this inspiration

Addicted to Stamps and More #400 - use die cuts and/or stencils

Dies R Us Challenge #164 - a/g using dies from Dies R Us store
(I used the Impression Obsession ghost die)

Thanks so much for the visit and for taking the time to leave a comment! Have yourself a fun and fantastic Friday!

Carol

Cool, Halloween in March and why not :) I adore the little picket fence acting as a nice divider from the spooky skies to the embossed cob web. As for your little ghosty, he's just a delight x

Bwahahaha . . . We card makers often make Xmas cards out of season, but rarely Halloween ones. Love that you bucked the trend and got ahead with your October cards! Great card too. Xxx
