Coffee Rules!

I've never played in the Coffee Lovers Blog hops before, but after seeing so many other bloggers playing along, I decided to give it a try. I have quite a few coffee-related stamps & dies, so I figured it's high time I put them to use and make a coffee-themed card!

This began with a piece of (r) SU! Afternoon Picnic faded blue dsp that I inked with a TH bubble stencil. I added a couple faded splotches of tea dye ink with a Unity stamp for coffee spills. The horizontal border is a piece of kraft that I embossed with a WRMK 3D Geometric ef and then covered it all up with the little coffee cups so you can't see the embossing. 😏

I added a punched border along with a Lil Inker heat-embossed sentiment. The little coffee cups were made with an I.O. die and lots of little snippets. The little flowers in the centers were done with a stick stamp by Judith and I added chocolate pearls to the centers as well as a few to the card.

Also sharing with the Caffeine Fueled Paper Play for March - coffee themed
(used a Unity stamp)

As well as the Snippets Playground #399 also because I used all snippets to make the coffee cups

Thanks for stopping by and I hope the rest of your weekend is fabulous!

What a wonderful card, Carol! I love making coffee related cards but sadly I do not have many friends that drink coffee so I don't make them very often. Loveeee all those little coffee cups and the different colors you used on them! The little coffee cups spills are amazing and I like how you created them! All around perfect card for that coffee drinking friend! As for me.....I love my coffee 1st thing in the morning! Great way to kickstart the day! TFS and I hope your enjoying this beautiful springtime weather! Thinking of you & sending love & hugs your way! :)

This is a beautiful coffee card! Did you know there is a monthly challenge you can enter your coffee creations if you have used a coffee set from one of the sponsors [past or present sponsor?] - Here is the link - link up and add the graphic to your blog posting - Lisa B runs that challenge - she is on the Design team - and sends out a packaged prize to the winner - lots of inspiration on displayed as well - enjoy the coffee hop - here is the link to the Caffeine Fueled Paper Play for this month - the owl graphic is on the blog - just save it - include it on your post - http://coffeelovingcardmakers.com/2021/03/caffeine-fueled-paper-play-coffee-then-the-world/

Hi Carol, your coffee card looks delightful! All those cups have a beautiful 3D looks with the floral decoration and the half chocolate pearls in the centres! Pretty sentiment and border, and love the vintage look of the background, well done with the fading splotches!
Sending hugs and love!

Too right, coffee is my kick start to the day and no morning is good unless I'm well fuelled lol. This is brilliant, I love the coffee cups each one unique and the colours are spot on. I see lots of people playing along with blog hops, maybe like yourself I should try... if only I could find more time tsk ;) x

Even though I drink 3 cups of coffee a week for heart health, I don't really like coffee. Want to try and drink it black, but yuk! Don't need sugar but some kind of creamer is a must. lol So as much as I don't care for coffee, I am so loving your coffee card! It's so fun! I love those little cups of coffee and all the colors you used on them. I also love that you took pattern paper and stenciled on it, so cool looking! I can see some of the embossing, but not much of it, but enough of it. lol I have that punch border and haven't used it in forever. I really need to start using my punches again, especially those borders. Great card Carol! Hugs, Brenda

Great card Carol! I love the freshness - and I do like a cup of black coffee now and then - otherwise it's English style tea or herbal.

Hugs
