February Rudolph Days Challenge

I've been dragging my feet getting Christmas cards done early this year, but I did manage to make this one recently. I used a retired mini tree punch from SU! to cut trees left over from assorted green cardstock bits and shaped them all into a tree. I stenciled the tag first with a GMD weave pattern stencil and some light green ink. The tree pot was cut with a retired SU! set of Perfect Pines, and the white heat-embossed sentiment is from SU! retired Teeny Tiny Wishes. The background was embossed with a CB Snow Globe ef and I tied a piece of candy cane red twine into a bow for the top of the tag. I added a red itty bitty star negative from a SSS star border die for the tree top.

I will enter this into the following challenges:

The Snippets Playground #397 - must use snippets

Repeat Impressions - The House that Stamps built #F2421 - anything goes

Thanks for stopping by and make it a great day whatever you do!

Carol

This is a fantastic way to start your 2021 Christmas card stash, Carol! It has texture from the embossing, interest from the stenciling, and fun from the Christmas tree made up of many tiny Christmas trees! It's awesome! Take care! Hugs, Darnell

This is super cute, Carol! I love how your mind works! I would have never thought to take that tree punch and layer the trees into the shape of a tree! Really great idea for a Christmas card! Your way ahead of me....I have not made a Christmas card since before Christmas! I'm slacking! LOL TFS and have a great weekend! I'll take the rain over snow anyday! Hugs~

You're behind and it's still just February? LOL I don't even start until November! This is a great idea - so cute and barely any stamping!

I am having to force myself to make Christmas cards Carol, I am trying to make some each month, but again, it is early in the year, so we will see if I continue with making them! I love yours! That embossed background is so pretty, really love that folder. But it is that tag with those trees arranged to make one large tree that blows my mind! Love the stenciling you did, but again, love those itty bitty trees the way you used them. You make me wish I had gotten these punches. lol Love how you made the tree ombre looking too. Then there is that itty bitty star...perfect! Hugs, Brenda

Absolutely LOVE the way you made the big tree with the tiny ones!! And it looks amazing on the tag into his cute pot!! Fab details as the gorgeous embossed background, the banner with the sentiment and the tiny star! The bow finished the card perfectly!
I had two punches as yours, and I surely will copy your fabulous idea! :D
Very well done!!
