Snow Fun

I have a fun wintry card to share today, made with a very old SU! set called Holiday Hedgehogs from (gasp) 2001! It's probably the oldest stamp set I have. The image was colored with Copics, adding liquid applique and diamond stickles for snow, along with some clear wink of stella on the hedgie snowman. The papers are from the Fancy Pants Timbergrove paper pad, and the snowflake accent was done with a Lawn Fawn stitched snowflake die. The gemstones are from GinaMarieDesigns and the card base is SU! Pool Party.

I'm sharing this card with

There's no snow here yet where I live, but I'd imagine we'll have some before winter's over. Thanks for checking in today and I wish you a wonderful weekend ahead!

Carol

So cute! Love your adorable winter card and it's funny...I was thinking of making some winter cards this weekend myself! I have this stamp set but it's missing some stamps as I picked it up at Goodwill last summer. It's perfect for some winter cards and goes beautifully with this paper (which I do have this, too!). A job well done, Carol! Have a wonderful weekend! Hugs~

Such lovely masculine card and a great way to show your twenty years of crafting! LOL :D The hedgie with the snowhedgie (LOL again)is so cute!!
Great mats and layering with those pretty papers and tthe faux snow is a beautiful detail, as well the cute snowflake!
Here is raining by three days. It's a very bad year for weather in Italy, almost in my zone: it's no normal too much rain.
Big hugs, take care and stay strong!

Oh my gosh!! what a cute "hedgehog" snowman, just so totally adorable with all of those sticks to simulate the fur and matching scarf.
I know about having old stamp sets that I treasure, I have one from 1999 from Stampin' Up! Called "Mice Messages", to be perfectly honest, I don't know why SU retires some of their sets that are simply amazing.
Anyway, thank you for sharing your adorable Hedgehog card with us at RETRO RUBBER.
Stay healthy and safe.

I love how you've made them twins with matching scarves... that's so adorable. I want some of that white fluffy stuff for real that your hedgehog is standing on, he looks like he's having snow much fun making his snow-hedgie. The pearls look like little drops of ice making the perfect finishing touch... enjoy your weekend x

You did a great job of coloring on those hedgehogs! Don't worry - you might have some snow on Tuesday - I heard them say it was going to be "shovelable".

This is an adorable card Carol, I am so loving this image! I didn't know it was so old-like 2001 is old?! But I guess it is. lol I love the papers you used too, they are fun and fit so well with this adorable image. Love the puffy "snow". Gosh I haven't use a puff paint pen aka liquid applique in forever! No, no snow here, but might get some on Monday-Wed. I guess we will see, but Feb. and March can be snowy months! Stay warm my friend and stay healthy! Hugs, Brenda

A super cute card, Carol. I love the paper and the cute image. That is exactly how I like my snow, on a card and not on the ground. :). Thanks, for sharing.

Oh, who doesn't like these little hedgies?! SO cute! Love the embellishment as well as that pretty paper! And maybe we'll get some real snow in the next day or so?! My Farmer's Almanac says Feburary is going to be THE MONTH for snow! We'll see! Thanks for playing with Retro Rubber this week!
