Just sharing a cheery little card I made while trying to put a dent into a Linen Closet paper pad I've hoarded for years. I created a branch with a SU! bird punch, then added a little bird from an Impression Obsession set of bird dies. I gave him an eye with a fine black marker. The sentiment is a stamp from Gina Marie Designs and I added 3 little pearls to finish this one.
I'm sharing with the Dies R Us challenge #160 which is anything goes using dies from their store (the I.O. bird dies)

Oh, this is sooooo sweet and delightful!! You are finding a treasure in your old stash, isn't it? LOVE those papers and the sentiment, all put in a lovely design! And the tiny cardinal on the branch with the pearls are the sign of your talent, they catch the eyes exactly where they have to be and and compliment the card perfectly!

Oh Carol, I love this card! Yep, I have this same paper stack and have hoarded it too. lol Although if I'm truthful, I never know to use pretty paper like this. lol I love how you have use the patterns on this card! It does all the work as does your sentiment. The small branch and bird work perfectly! I just may have to CASE this card! Hugs, Brenda
