I recently purchased this curvy Christmas sentiment die, along with a companion die that cuts assorted sizes of snowflakes, and made 2 Christmas cards. I used mirror red cardstock to cut the sentiment, along with some vanilla card to cut the snowflakes. The designer paper is by Echo park. For the first version I split the card into thirds, adding some of the smaller snowflakes....
and since there was half a sheet of the 6x6 designer paper left, I made a 2nd card - moving the sentiment up a bit higher, adding some of the larger snowflakes to the bottom panel. These were both quick and easy to make but slightly different.
I'm entering the first card into the October Rudolph Days challenge - make a Christmas card
also the Merry Little Christmas Challenge MCLLB#27 - Christmas a/g
also entering at the NBUS # 19 - (my NBUS is the dies)
We went from a high yesterday of 74 and today our high is going to be somewhere between 47-50 degrees, so it's a major cool-down and might make those Christmas cards a bit easier to make as the seasons are rapidly changing. Time to make some home-made soup me thinks :)
Thanks for stopping by and make it a great day whatever you do!

Beautiful cards Carol, love the curved sentiment and the paper, great designs. Yes! our temperature went down this week too, not as much as yours, but homemade vegetable soup was made and was yummy :)

I like both of these but actually prefer the second one. The curvy sentiment is very eye-catching. Kate x
We had a weather change here too. We had a few hot days and then it was followed by a cold dreary and super rainy day...Then the temperatures dropped and I notice that several off my geranium leaves are touched by frost! Yep, winter is coming,..
Your card is so pretty/ Love that new border. It is so lovely.
Both great CAS cards love the beautiful paper and your new die

SO pretty....love the die, but especially that paper...the dark pattern is so pretty against the red!
Well done on buying that curvy sentiment die, Carol, it really is a good hand to make quick Christmas cards and also so pretty! Love the red mirror choice and the beautiful paper looks great with the white snowflakes.
Here is still hot too, but just now it's raining, so the temperatures will go down, I think.
Have a lovely handmade soup! I'm sure it will be yummy and good for health! :)
Big hugs
Oh I am loving both of these cards Carol! That sentiment strip is so cool, loving that die myself. lol That paper is gorgeous and your snowflakes just pop off of it. So festive and fun are both of these cards! You were so warmer than we were yesterday. We reach 68 I think, no more than 70, it had a coolness to the air because of the clouds I guess. Today is rainy and chilly, but more fall like. I guess our Indian Summer is over. We knew it had to end! lol Now just keep the snow away! Hugs, Brenda
Fabulous card, really like that die used with mirrored cardstock and good choice of patterned papers!
I love that beautiful sentiment die. Awesome card designs.
Mmmm homemade soup, how cosy and so perfect for this time of year especially here in cold blighty. Your two cards are so Christmassy and great choice to cut the border die in that pop of bright red mirri card. Always love a sprinkling of snowflakes x
Pretty Christmas cards, Carol. Looks like we both spent our weekend making Christmas cards. Started working on them yesterday on my back porch, it was getting warm out there so in the morning I put my summer clothes on. Today it was too chilly for me to sit on the porch. That weather really did ChangeQuickly didn't it?
Carol, wow, love this beautiful die you used and gorgeous card for someone for Christmas... well our weather is weird too. A week of really hot and last three days cold, rain and heating on....that's our world hey. ♥

This is a great die and looks beautiful in the red mirror paper. The designer paper is a perfect choice to pair with it.
Very pretty Christmas card, Carol! Nice die set!
Both of your cards here are stunning! What a gorgeous die cut border especially in that red mirror paper! The snowflakes over the paper are very impressive on your elegant card! It actually SNOWED here this morning over my way...not happy about that part, but really enjoying your festive makes! HUGS
