BOO!!
I know it's early for Halloween, but I made this card for the occasion.
It started with an older clothing tag that I wrapped with torn pieces of SU! Halloween dsp (r). After I finished wrapping it all up (leaving an opening for his big googlie eyes to peek out) I coated the torn edges of the papers with some sparkly Stickles. I die-cut a witch's hat from Darice and then added a Lawn Fawn die-cut bat to the hat just for fun. The BOO! sentiment was die cut with a Lil Inker die I bought last year. The herringbone background was made with strips of dsp from the same SU! pack of paper and the only other thing I added was a black marker to go around the eye opening. This is going to a cute little young man who will probably get a kick out of it :)
I'll enter this into the Dies R Us Challenge #155 - BOO!
Thanks for stopping by and I will try to get around to visit as time allows. Life has become quite busy for me lately and unfortunately I just don't have the time to devote to blogging that I'd like to.
Take good care of one another :)

OMGosh, this is an adorable Halloween card Carol! I love the dsp you used on the background and the mummy. What a clever idea to use an old clothing tag an wrap it up like that-perfect for Halloween! I love those googly eye's peeking out, the witches hat fits perfectly and the cute boo is the perfect sentiment. Glad this is going to a young man who will appreciate it and get a kick out of it! Life is challenging, so I get you totally! Take all the time you need my sweet friend! Hugs, Brenda

How inventive, what a truly unique and fun Halloween card and it has googly eyes... my inner child is happy. It's a brilliant idea to use the patterned paper as bandages and the Boo die is awesome. I just keep scrolling back as he makes me smile :) x

This is so cute. The google eyes are fun and I like that Boo die cut. Adding the bat to the hat is clever. Don't worry about blogging. We all have to take a bit of a time out from time to time.
This is very creative with your scraps of patterns paper wrapping around the tag. I think it is loads of fun!
This is really artistry, fun and so different! Not only a great idea recycling an old clothe tag and wrapping it, but all the details you added, as the stickles, the googling eyes peeking out, and that fabulous hat with the bat!!
