I seem to be making sympathy cards often lately, so I made a few to keep in my stash. This one started with some grass green cardstock and a Tim Holtz image that I stamped on white with Versafine black ink, then heat embossed it with clear detail ep before sponging on several different distress inks. The background was done with white cardstock; a Repeat Impressions fern stamp and some Versafine ink, then heat-embossed with white ep. The sentiment is a stamp and die set from Serendipity.
I'll enter this into the Repeat Impressions anything goes challenge JL2220
That's it for me today. I'm dealing with another hot day and a clogged kitchen sink. Nothing has helped so far so I suppose a call to a plumber is on my list for today.
Take care and have a great Wednesday and thanks for stopping by!

Lovely card, but a shame that we need them, right? Good luck on the plumbing issue!

Serene and peaceful. I like the image with the clock and that you've made it into a sympathy card, its reflective of time being a great healer. A nice card to offer comfort x

So very pretty, Carol! Love the greens and your beautiful diecut sentiment! I have been making sympathy cards for a card order and some for myself to keep on hand. They seem to be my #1 selling card lately. Hope you had some success with getting the drain open? I hope to never see another plumber for the next 5 years after all we've been thru with the sewer pipe being broken! Good luck & stay cool!
A very beautiful way to use your background stamp, love the bold black on the sweet pastel colours of the inks and the beautiful big sentiment!
Hope that the plumber arrange your kitchen sink quickly.
Hugs!

This is lovely and will bring comfort. The background is so pretty and subtle and the panel is striking. Did you try vinegar and baking soda. That has helped me in the past.
