Sea World Thinking of You

This card all started with a stitched die-cut frame I recently bought and tried out by cutting a snippet of lemon-lime card stock. I found some old snippets of Graphic 45 Tropical Travelogue dsp with colors that seemed to coordinate with the frame, so once I had the framed image, I added other elements to give it an underwater look. The little seahorse came from my stash and was made years ago with my Cricut machine before I sold it. I added pink and black Nuvo drops just for fun. The little sailboat was die cut from an orange snippet of card stock with an Impression Obsession set of dies. I added some gold Wink of Stella to the bottom for a little sparkle. The wavy blue paper is from the same Graphic 45 paper pad, while the polka dot paper is from SU!. I used a MFT notched border die to make the element that separates the papers. The "seaweed/coral" was done with a Spellbinder die called Foilage, and the "Thinking of You" was cut 3 times with an Elizabeth Craft Die, and layered to make it stand out a bit more. I also added clear Wink of Stella to the "coral" for added sparkle. I had no plans to make a sea-themed card; this simply came together in a moment of mindless thinking :)

I hope things are going well in your part of the world. I think my brain is about to go into snooze mode soon as I don't know what to do with myself anymore.
Take care of you and those you love.

Carol

This seems so different from what you usually make - and I love it! Makes me wish I was down on a beach somewhere soaking up the sun. So many wonderful details on your card Carol. Love it!
I know what you mean about the brain going into the snooze mode too!

There's something quite mesmerizing about a sea scene and yours is beautifully done Carol... that bold patterned paper is super, very brave of you to chop into it ;) x
