I had no internet from mid morning yesterday until later last evening, so I pulled out an older jigsaw puzzle and spent the better part of the day putting it together. I finished up the last few pieces this morning. Click the picture to enlarge and check out the edges. This had only 300 pieces, but was one of the most difficult puzzles I've ever put together! LOL Without straight edges, there's no starting point, so you just put together random pieces and figure out how they all go together. You can see by the design, it's loaded with lots of dachshunds, flowers, and other elements. The easiest part was the red, white, and blue ball LOL
When my husband awoke from his daily nap and asked what was for dinner, I asked him what time it was. I was dumbfounded to realize it was 5:45 PM and I hadn't even started our evening meal yet! LOL Thank goodness for leftovers! Hopefully today I'll get a little crafting time in and look up now and then. :)
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you're finding ways to amuse yourselves while spending so much time at home. Take care, and stay well!

First of all - that's the cutest puzzle ever made I think!!!! LOVE all the little doxies of course. I spotted Rambo really quick too.....and also Peanuts, a black one I had years ago!
As far as putting the puzzle together - yikes! I can see why it'd be so hard without any straight edges! And you put it together fast! It would have taken me weeks I imagine!

What a neat puzzle! I have seen the shaped one and thought that they looked too hard for me! I think that was quite a project! On Sunday we did leftovers for dinner because I just thought it was too hot to cook. Hope you have a nice day! The weather is good!
I've never seen a jigsaw quite like this but it's so cool, they can become quite absorbing and a nice way to relax, switch off for a few hours and hey who needs tea lol... look after you two x
I think I finished all the puzzles in my stash a couple of weeks ago! I always thought I could start a puzzle exchange, just swap puzzles with friends, family and neighbors! I think this is the cutest! I did a couple puzzles with non-straight edges too! They are definitely a challenge! And time-suckers!
WOW! that is one wonderful jigsaw, what a wonderful picture it makes, no wonder you got lost in it.
Keep safe and well

OMGosh is this ever cute?! I can't imagine doing it with out the straight edges? I told Roger the other day that I should set up the card table and we could work on a puzzle. Just afraid the cats might want to help a bit too much?! Glad you got your internet back! With Rog being home and our schedule being so off w eat at all kinds of weird hours the past few weeks? Love having leftovers for the days you just don't feel like cooking!
I love that wonderful puzzle and I bet even if hard to put together it was a joy to do regardless. Such a cute scene.

Love your cute puzzle, Carol! Puzzles are a great way to pass the time as I just finished up a 1000 piece last week! The ones without the straight edges are the hardest in my opinion! I worked on one back at Christmas that was like that....oh my, it was a toughie! This one is adorable with the doggies on!
AWE!! Now that is the CUTEST puzzle ever!!!! My husband did a puzzle over the winter and really enjoyed it! I think it was 1000 piece of space gallaxy or whatever. It does make time go by faster for sure!! :) Hope you are well and happy my friend!! HUGS
Wow! What a fun puzzle. I did not think you were doing them anymore. It is wonderful.
It is lovely.
Would take us a month to do this .......Lis
