Birthday Card

Hello and happy Monday! I hope everyone had a nice Easter yesterday. Ours was quiet and we spent the day doing a lot of resting! LOL
A while ago I created a background using Yupo paper, some older alcohol inks and some mixative. I wished I'd added more colors when it was finished, so I just set it aside for later use and today was the day to use it. I used a SSS Dot Scallop Border die to create the curve, and then used the other portion of the inky background to make the butterfly using MB Darla and Vivienne dies. The SSS sentiment panel was heat-embossed with white ep on black and cut into a banner, adding 3 different sized black gemstones for the final touch.

I am entering this into the following challenges:

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - mood board for Spring

The color of the flowers and butterfly inspired me to make this card.

Thanks for stopping by and I wish you all a good Monday.

Carol
