I know it's been a while, sorry for the absence. An update to my computer recently made it impossible to d/l photos from my camera via USB as I've always done. Hopefully soon I'll be able to figure it out, but for the time being my brain is just fried.
Anyway, I made this card recently and d/l it before things changed, so I'm able to share it with the April Rudolph Days challenge. I made a herringbone background with Brutus Monroe Winter Cabin leftover strips of dsp, then die-cut it (along with the image panel) with Lil Inker stitched rectangle dies. The gnome die is by SSS and the Perky Puppy die is by Memory Box. Both the gnome hat and dog collar were done with snippets of gold glitter paper. The sentiment is from a retired 2013 SU! set called Endless Wishes.
I'm also sharing this with the Snippets Playground Challenge #376 since snippets were used to put this together.
I'd also like to enter this into the Retro Rubber Challenge #133 which is anything goes. The stamps you use must be over a year old.
Thanks for stopping by and hopefully I'll be back again soon!
Take care in the meantime!
Carol

What a great card! I love the dsp strips and that gnome is adorable. Adding that pup made this even cuter. I hope you get the new computer update sorted out. I just went through the very same thing. It took several days and many tries to get my photos in the computer. It sorted itself out and I don't know how.
Oh goodness how did we get to the end of April so soon. Love the way you have made the background pieceing it together like that. I have had networking issues and it is so frustrating not being able to communicate especially during this enforced lockdown. Keep safe and well. Hugs Mrs

It is so gorgeous and I just love the background for that cute gnome. Good luck with the computer issues. I feel your pain as we had issues but it works like a charm again. I am really pleased about that.

Oh, oh now Carol you know how I love the way you do these backgrounds and this is no exception but I'm afraid the little puppy steals the show... he's adorable jumping up at the rather dapper gnome with his ribbon swirling behind him... awesome card and fingers crossed you get everything working soon, tbh at the moment it doesn't take much to fry the brain, well not me anyway... my patience has buggered off competely lol. Take care and hope the hubby is managing without his coffee fix :) x

Hi Carol.. great card, live the background its gorgeous.
Dont know if it will help with issues.. but I couldn't download from my USB on my camera ages ago now, so bought a card reader and just insert the card from camera in it and plug reader into computer and upload that way.
Hope that helps anyway...
Thanks for sharing, and may God bless and keep you and all whom you love, in these changeable times. As Paul wrote: "We walk by faith, not by sight."
