Butterfly Birthday

When making this card recently, I cut the butterfly in assorted colors, so using the leftovers, I made another butterfly for a 2nd card.
The background was stenciled with antique linen and a SU! stencil for a soft look. The butterfly was done with Memory Box Vivienne and Darla dies in dark brown, yellow, orange and red and all the negatives were exchanged for colorful butterflies. I added 3 gold nailhead stickers to the body and 3 Nuvo black pearl dots along with a Penny Black stamped sentiment and now have another card for my stash.

I'll enter this into the Just Us Girls challenge #520 which has the following inspirational photo ...

Thanks for stopping by and make it a great day!

Wow, you saved the little inlays to create a second card... tipping my hat to you for that one. I love the butterfly that looks like its just landed on the wall during Summer season and nice choice to use Scriptina font for the sentiment, looks fab x

I have always admired your "pieced" butterfly cards!! I was playing with some emoji dies today and thinking that the piecing them was a pain....can't imagine this many pieces. But man is it worth it in the end! Beautiful!!
