Hello and happy Wednesday! I managed to find time to play along with the Twofer Challenge #22 which is "Holiday Greenery." There is a twist this time around that you can make both cards the same theme if you wish, since we're all scurrying to get those Christmas cards made and mailed on time.
For my twofer I chose to use a Memory Box Pine Needle border die for the greenery, making one in green for a Christmas card, and one in white for a winter wishes card.
First up is the Christmas card. I used a retired SU! snowflake embossing folder and added some green pines to the top, along with a sparkly strip of washi tape and some silver and white twisted twine tied into a bow. The Kaisercraft die-cut sentiment and punched ornaments (done with a retired SU! mini punch) were done with glittered red card stock.
I'm also going to share this card with the MLCCB #16 - November Anything Christmas Goes Challenge
This long retired image from SU! called "Extreme Snowboard" has been a favorite of mine for years. I stamped and clear embossed the image on white, then sponged in some clouds with Tumbled Glass ink. I added 2 die-cut stitched hillside borders (by Lawn Fawn) along the bottom, and then covered them completely with assorted stickles. I added 3 different colors of blue stickles to get some moving snow action beneath the snowboard. I added another die cut MB pine needle border from white, and completely covered it with white WOS before adding another strip of the sparkly washi tape on the edge. The "snowflakes" were made with small dies from a SB Lotus die set, and a SSS Bella Bloom die set and assorted glittered snippets of card stock. I added clear rhinestones to the snowflakes and pine needle border to finish this one.
I'm also sharing this card with the Cardz4Guyz Challenge #232 which is "All Wrapped up" - people or animals in scarves, coats, hats etc, or featuring parcels
Sharing also with the SOS challenge #408 - snowflakes
Thanks for the visit, it's always great to have you stop by. Happy crafting and have a great day!

Both cards are fab but the Winter Wishes snowboarder is just awesome... I love the varying shades of blue stickles you've used under the board for movement, that is genius and very cool, yup pun intended ;) Two great cards for Darnells challenge x

Great cards! I love the use of the pines on each one!
So very fun and gorgeous and a great way to use that die two different ways. I love these.
Sweet cards, Carol! That embossing folder on your first card adds a huge amount of fabulous texture! Love the look of that, and the sparkly sentiment and ornaments, too. That pine bough border is amazing, and I can see just how versatile it is! Your second card is fabulous! That snowboarder would have several of my grandsons absolutely drooling! What a cool image! And your use of that border in white is such a clever idea. It's definitely there, just in a wintery way. Two great cards! Thanks so much for joining us at The Twofer Challenge! Bev

Wow, I am loving your twofer's Carol! Your Christmas one is CAS and so beautiful but it is the winter snowboarder scene that blows me away! I love how you created this scene and I am totally loving it. What a great card for a guy or any one who loves to snowboard! Hugs, Brenda
That is a wonderful pine needle die and very versatile. I like how you used it on both cards. That's such a pretty card with it in the green and I love the snowboarder and the movement on that card.
Two great cards, Carol! And as someone said in a comment before mine. You nailed this challenge! Very nicely done!
The pine needle die is going to earn its keep and then some. It's so versatile as you have proven here and one I can see why you purchased long ago. The first card is drop dead gorgeous and I love the added red ornaments. Love the sky and the splatter of snow cascading off of the snowboarder. Two sensational Twofers where I am guesting this month!
Beautiful cards, Carol. I especially love the snowboarder. The background is awesome.
The texture and dementia you achieved with both these stunning designs is fantastic, Carol! Each one is a gift for the eyes because of all the details! You did an especially great job with that sky and the movement under that snowboard on your winter wishes design!! Thank you so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #22! Hugs, Darnell
I love the pine needle die-and both with a different effect-love the first one with the embossed snowflakes and it looks equally as good with the fabulous masculine image too
